The ferry reaches Vuosaari in the morning. Heading on to central or northern Finland, Ring Road III gets you onto the motorways quickly. Adding a few days in Helsinki? Stay in the city centre – bus 90A runs from the port straight to the railway station.
Before leaving for Travemünde
Vehicle check-in runs from 12:00 to 14:00, in summer from 11:30. A night in Vuosaari saves the city traffic; from the centre, metro and bus take a little longer.
Don’t mix up the ports
The ferries to Stockholm and Tallinn leave from the city centre. The ferry to Travemünde uses the Hansa Terminal in Vuosaari – keep that in mind when choosing a hotel.
