Helsinki’s cargo port in the east
Vuosaari opened in November 2008 and is mainly a cargo port. The ferries to Stockholm and Tallinn leave from the city centre instead – don’t mix up the terminals. Coming from Travemünde you arrive in the morning around 10:00 and have the whole day to travel on.
